Sensex up 114 Points

As was most likely to happen the sensex rebounded today after two days of weakness. The sensex moved sideways in a lack lustre fashion till the mid session when it rallied strongly and continued its journey to close up 114 points at 9284.

Most heavy weights put on healthy gains, the notable ones being ICICI Bank, Infosys, Hindalco, HDFC, SBI and Reliance Energy.

Inspite of the rise in the index, the breadth of the market was negative, with the declines outnumbering the advances.

Time to formulate our strategy for the coming days. To look for fresh opportunities.
